I am crazy about animals and nature. This has been true since I was a child. A few years ago, I picked up a camera and discovered that looking through the lens helped me notice things in a different way. Since then I’ve taken thousands of photos. Likely, I’m breaking many of the rules for taking photos. I’m strictly self-taught. If it looks good to me, I take the shot.

It hadn’t occurred to me to do a blog. The prompting came from people who asked to see some of my photos. I have some gorgeous scrapbooks, but these are not easy to carry around for display purposes. With some encouragement from my husband, I decided to at least consider the blog idea.

When I have a crazy notion, I usually call my Aunt. She will let me know if I’m being creative or totally unrealistic. In this case, she thought a blog was a good idea. She even offered to do the research and set up the site for me. In short order, I had a blogsite ready to share.

On my blog, you’ll find my favorites of photos I’ve taken.

These tend to be animals, though I sometimes stray into other aspects of nature. On my Home page, my posts show most recent first (except for a favorite I keep in place). On this About page, you’ll see a list of categories to help you find the particular types of photos that might appeal to you most. I hope you enjoy them.

Nature can be tasty.
